The Department of Environment under the Ministry of Environment and Forests is implementing the“Clean Air and Sustainable Environment (CASE)” Project funded by the World Bank has proposed revisions of “Vehicle Emission Standards (VES)” Enforcement of Emission Standards and Inspection and Maintenance Programme, Recommendations Regarding Revisions to the Bangladesh, National Ambient Air Quality Standards and Review of Air Quality Index (AQI) for Bangladesh.
